During the “KYOBASHI ART WALL: Start the Future from Here” program, artists were invited to showcase their work on the temporary construction walls of the Toda Building, which opened in November 2024, providing them with opportunities for creation and exhibition.

Launched in 2021, the program held four rounds of open calls for submissions through 2024, once every six months. Outstanding works and encouragement award recipients were selected and exhibited on the construction walls, alongside solo exhibitions by each featured artist.

Now, as part of the “ART POWER KYOBASHI” initiative celebrating the opening of the new building, a group exhibition featuring selected artists will be held in the APK ROOM at the Toda Building. Vol.1 introduces five artists, including Arima Reina, Kokeshisky, Nakai Shinji, Nelson Hor and BAKKY, whose works are inspired by childhood experiences and visually derived imagery.


「KYOBASHI ART WALL―ここから未来をはじめよう」 は、2024年11月に開業したTODA BUILDINGの建設現場の仮囲を活用して、アーティストの創作や発表の場を提供するプログラムです。

2021年よりスタートし、2024年までの間半年に1回、全4回にわたり作品を募集、優秀作品及び奨励作品を選出し、TODA BUILDING建設現場の仮囲での展示のほか、各優秀作家の展覧会を開催しました。

そして、この度ビル開業後の 「ART POWER KYOBASHI」 の取り組みとしてTODA BUILDINGにて入選作家による展覧会を開催します。Vol.1 では、幼少期の自身の体験や視覚的に得たイメージから制作へと繋げているアーティストの有馬莉菜、コケシスキー、中井伸治、ネルソン・ホー、BAKKYの５名を紹介します。
